the plan was for lucy and i to have a grand adventure together. we would dress up, and attend the nutcracker in all our elegance. then we would dine somewhere lovely. and then return to the coziness of home for more fun.
but alas, this was not the first of my plans to be altered by the snow.
lucy was unable to make it my house, but since our tickets were non-refundable and daddy was willing to drive, john and i attended the nutcracker!
and it was utterly delightful.
graceful dancing, beautiful sets and enchanting costumes made for quite the holiday experience!
this is me expressing my sadness at being unable to attend with lucy.
but at least john was willing to go with me!
