tests and longboards

two happy things today-

1) i passed my leadership ATI test!! this test gauges how well i am going to be prepared to test the NCLEX when i graduate, but unlike other times, i needed to pass in order to pass the class in order to continue in the program. although there is one more opportunity to take the test during finals week, i really wanted to pass the test right off the bat. i studied lots and i guess my critical thinking skills are improving, because i passed! yay! i guess i still get to be in nursing school. =)

2) i love one-on-ones. i had a great talk with amberle over lunch. on my walk home after hanging out with her, i laughed so much listening to martha's voice mail about waldo and walkabout memories. i even had a little adventure with jacob for our one-on-one after my test. after we got milkshakes, he wanted to teach me how to longboard. although i was nervous, especially in regards to my lack of coordination and difficulty with things that require a great deal of balance, he was a willing, patient and encouraging teacher. i managed to get on the board without gripping his arm by the end of our hour. one more thing i can say that i have tried! =)
